Exploring making a bun in xGen and Fibermesh and finding out if it can work with our scene and rigs.

A few bloopers that will not be directly visible to the camera.

(For those who don't know: Montgomery Hall is the name of the animation building where my team mates and I spend most of our days working on this film. Maya doesn't always like to cooperate with us.)

Lighting the first two sequences. Playing with the color of the memories, which is a saturated yellow-orange reminiscent of the sun, and the present reality, which is a desaturated yet contrast-rich blue toned scene lit by the moonlight. It's challenging when these lights have to interact with each other, such as shot 100_90, where the oranges and blues blend. I have to continue working on making them blend without turning into a murky brown. For sequence 200, I'm working on making the light harsher and stronger when it hits the Mom, like sunlight would cast harsher shadows.
