ABOUT
Shelly Gertan is the founder of Erlance Studios, an award-winning, Vienna-based animation studio with a focus on original IPs aimed at teenaged audiences. She is best known for „Reyn: Angel of Freedom,“ a webcomic and upcoming animated feature film series supported by the Austrian Film Institute. Her detailed animated music videos and short films have garnered millions of views online and won international awards. Shelly returned to Vienna after 4 years in the US, bringing her expertise back with her to her home country, where she now works on building a stronger and more inclusive industry. When she's not working on "Reyn," she is traveling to international conventions and conferences in order to share her experiences in animation with other aspiring artists.
